I’m not your every day lactation consultant and here’s why:
I’m not your everyday lactation consultant because with me, you’re not just getting breastfeeding support. My background as an occupational therapist in the NICU means I look at your baby’s whole body and yours, addressing things like muscle tightness, oral motor skills, and sensory processing alongside feeding guidance. This dual approach helps you and your little one feed more comfortably, reduces stress, and supports your baby’s overall development—giving you a smoother, more confident breastfeeding journey.
You Have Been Trying So Hard. The Support Just Hasn’t Matched the Size of What You Are Navigating.
You took the class. You saw a lactation consultant. You googled at 3am more times than you can count. And you are still here — still in pain, still worried, still watching your baby struggle in a way your instincts are telling you is not right.
You are not failing. You are navigating a whole-body challenge with support that was only ever designed to see one piece of it. The latch does not exist in isolation from your baby's body tension. The body tension does not exist in isolation from their oral motor function. All of these things are connected — and they can only be fully addressed by someone trained to see all of them at once.
That’s where I come in.
I Am Not Your Everyday Lactation Consultant or New Grad Occupational Therapist.
And that difference changes everything about your outcome.
My background as a NICU Occupational Therapist means I spent nearly a decade at the bedside of the most medically fragile newborns in existence. I know what body tension looks and feels like in a newborn. I know how primitive reflexes affect feeding mechanics. I know how sensory processing shapes every feed in ways most providers never think to look for.
When you work with me you are not getting a lactation consultant who also knows a little about development. You are getting a NICU-trained developmental specialist and an internationally board-certified lactation consultant in one person, delivering one integrated plan, in your home, for the entire journey.
There is nothing else like it in Houston. Because there has never been anything else like it.

Pre- and post-tie release body preparation and integration
Latch mechanics and positioning
Milk transfer and supply
Tongue and lip tie assessment and management
Pain-free feeding solutions
Pumping support and supply protection
Nipple shield guidance and weaning
Bottle introduction and breast refusal
Primitive reflex assessment and integration
Oral motor function and feeding coordination
Sensory processing and its impact on feeding

Early identification of developmental concerns
All of it. In your home. From one person. In one visit. 💜
You are recovering from birth, feeding every two to three hours, and running on broken sleep. The last thing you need is to pack up the diaper bag and drive to a clinic. I come to you — in your home, with your baby on their own play mat, delivering the same level of comprehensive clinical care that would otherwise require multiple specialists and multiple appointments.
I also bring your partner into every visit, giving him the knowledge, the massage techniques, and the specific hands-on role that transforms the fourth trimester from something you endure alone into something you navigate together.
